Include Vienna in your stay in Budapest by going there on a daytrip. It is far enough to be in another country but close to be visited in a comfortable car or minivan and learn the Habsburgs and the heritage of Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. Enjoy the Shönbrunn Palace, Stephens Cathedral, Prater, Opera etc. Return to Budapest in the evening.
We have the luxury to have several capitals nearby including Vienna and Bratislava which can be visited in one day. Travel with me to Vienna, In the town we firstly arrive at the Ring (Boulevard) and the Urania District, and then at the downtown,

During the stay in Vienna we will try to make the most of it. We do a tour by car and if possible we take a little walk as well. Enter into the Hofburg (Winter Residence of the Habsburgs), where I show you the Heroes’ Square, the Swiss Gate, the Spanish Riding School and the Sissi Museum.
After that we go on and reach the Graben (pedestrian street) and the Stephan’s Cathedral, which is the most beautiful Gothic church in the city and is the symbol of Vienna.
